Beach House Wine Tasting

Beach House WineWhen you open this wine, you’ll find there is no cork.  It’s a twist top.

In appearance this wine is deep ruby in color.  It’s also very leggy.

The wine’s aroma was tingly to the nose and rather earthy.

Beach House wine alcohol content 14.0% by volume, per the bottle.

On the palate this is a nice smooth wine.  It’s not dry and there’s very little bitterness in the flavor.  The flavor ended up being a bit lighter then was expected given the deep color and earthy nose.

The finish was also smooth with just a bit of tingle from the alchohol.

According to the winemaker, this particular Beach House wine would go great with red meats and also any type of cheese.  They also say it’s quite easy drinking on its own and I would have to agree!

Overall, I found this to be an enjoyable, casual, easy drinking wine.  The three varietal blend made for a nicely balanced wine that did stand on its own as a nice sipping wine.

Beach House wine price about $8.99.
